"Through me the way into the suffering city, Through me the way to the eternal pain, Through me the way that runs among the lost. Justice urged on my high artificer; My maker was divine authority, The highest wisdom, and the primal love. Before me nothing but eternal things were made, And I endure eternally. Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

Is This An End To The Digg Mafia?

For the past few days the net has been buzzing with the news of the new Google Bucket Test which revealed a "Digglike" Interface. In light of the fact that Google has backed these reports with their own Experimental Lab Report, the Digg Mafia hitmen already have been at work busily burying such articles as "Innacurate Content" or "General Buries". It seems that Digg, once again, turned a blind eye to these antics. This brings about the question of "Is Digg too stupid to learn from past mistakes?" or "Does Digg walk the walk, instead of just talking the talk?" ~ either way the answers are probably something we Diggers will never learn. If a response is done at all, by Digg, odds are that they will push off the blame onto the members... instead of admitting their own mistakes and rectifying it.

The new Google Interface has promise for it seems to be set up to where a bury brigade can't stop the views of others, except on their own results page. The votes and comments of Googlers seem to remain for all to see, unless you block the content to your own Google Search screen. This is good news for those wanting honesty and integrity in the things which they are interested. Surely the Digg Mafia hates it with a passion for they no longer can control what you see.
